Tuesday 2000

Thursday 2000

Sunday 1000 Weapons

All sessions are in the Turneralm!

Haris Tanjo – promoted Shodan

Many congratulations to Haris who achieved Shodan on Saturday even after what has been an especially difficult time for training.

A big thank you to all our students who have worked with Haris over the years – our first completely Kolbermoor Aikido trained beginner to dan grade.

Full training curriculum resumed!

First class is tomorrow in the Mareissaal at 2000.

Tuesday, 2000-2200, Mareissaal
Friday, 2000-2200, Turneralm, downstairs
Sunday, 1000-1200, Turneralm Spiegelsaal (Weapons)

We have some catching up to do!

Training Resumption!

After new regulations, we can now at least begin weapons training.

First class, Sunday 13.6.21 at 1000 in the Turneralm, as usual.

Same hygiene rules as before the lockdown.

2021

We wish everybody a Happy New Year.

Also, we hope soon to be training again.

Keep well and optimistic.

Nik & Brigitte

Lockdown again

Firstly, we will continue with training this week:

Friday 2000 Turnealm

Sunday 1000 Turneralm

Then regrettably once again “freetime sport” is cancelled. This is a great shame as the whole SV has had no cases reported thanks to good hygiene and disciplined members.

Optimistically, we hope that the restriction will last for only two weeks.  As soon as training can restart I will inform.

Take care in the meanwhile, hopefully very short.

Change of training sessions

Because the Turnhalle remains out of action we have to once again shuffle training times:

Sunday: no change

Tuesday 2000 – 2200 in the Maraissaal

Thursday: cancelled

Friday 2000 – 2200 Turneralm downstairs FROM 2nd OCTOBER

Training times & holiday changes

With immediate effect, trainingtimes are now:

Tuesdays 1900 – 2100 Maraissaal (until 21st July)

Thursdays 2000 – 2200 SVDJK Turneralm downstairs

Sundays 1000 – 1200 SVDJK Turneralm Spiegelsaal – weapons

From 28th July Tuesdays will change to:

2000 – 2200 SVDJK Turneralm downstairs

In Memory of Martin Büttner

It is with much sadness that we learned of the passing last week of one of the founder members of Kolbermoor Aikido: Martin Büttner. As a student here, Martin was a firm supporter of the club and active both as trainee and socially for over five years. He will be sadly missed and we extend our deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones.

Training resumption Sunday 21 June, 1000 – 1200

We start normal Sunday training again in the Turneralm, 21 June at 1000.
Please note the following hygiene regulations:
– we can train without masks, so long as the 1.5m distance is kept, so should be no problem with weapons.
– anybody who for their own security wants to wear a mask, no problem
– masks need to be worn for entering and leaving the Spiegalsaal and for the toilets
– showers and changing rooms remain closed, so please arrive in uniform.  Hakama put on in the Spiegalsaal observing distance restriction.
– to start with we can only train for up to 1 hour, then 20 minute airing. So 45-20-45 pattern.
– where possible use your own weapons, communal weapons must be disinfected
– hand hygiene observed, naturally
– anybody feeling ill (cough/fever etc) or in contact/quarantine please do not come to training
– so long as minimum distance can be observed up to 20 people per session can train
– We need to maintain attendee lists with contact details.
Further sessions: we are still waiting for confirmation on times/availability for the Maraissaal which will be posted once we know details.

Training Resumption!

The Sportsverein is preparing to resume training from next week.

Since the fire brigade gymnasium is no longer available, our times have changed:

Sunday, 10 a.m. Turneralm (as always)

Monday and Tuesday evening in the Mareissaal (same building as Milano)

We will post exact times and hygiene rules at the weekend.

Good news: as long as we keep the minimum distance, we can train without mouth and nose protection. These only have to be worn before entering and leaving the training room.
If you prefer, you can of course!

So – dust your Gi and polish your swords. We look forward to seeing you!

SV Kolbermoor shutdown

With immediate effect, all SV DJK training facilities and classes are shut down by agreement between the board and town, so unfortunately no Aikido until further notice. Watch this space!

Training during Fasching holiday

Next week is holiday again. Training as follows:

Thursday 27.2 2000 – 2200 Turneralm (downstairs)

Sunday 1.3 1000 – 1200 Turneralm

We can now put the mats back downstairs. If we can all join in after class on Sunday then it won’t take long.  That means, after the holiday we can resume Monday training.

Workshop Event Gröbenzell, Saturday 25 April 2020 – Postponed

Update 22 March: Given the current situation, the workshop event is postponed indefinitely.

Here the poster for this year’s Workshop Event in Gröbenzell (close to Munich). Last year the Workshop were well attended and a great success. We hope that also this year many interested Aikidoka will take part.
